BEHAVIORAL OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Dallas–Fort Worth & Surrounding Areas Independent Contractor (1099) Flat-Rate Per Enrolled Client

Make an Impact. Build Community. Get Paid for Results.

AEIC Case Management LLC is growing — and we’re looking for motivated, community-focused Behavioral Outreach Coordinators who are passionate about connecting pregnant women, children, and families to vital Medicaid services under the Children & Pregnant Women (CPW) Program.

This is a flexible, contract-based role ideal for individuals who love community engagement, relationship-building, and health advocacy — and who want their work to directly change lives.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Outreach Coordinator, you serve as a trusted ambassador for AEIC in the community. You educate partners, present services, identify eligible individuals, and help guide them into care — without providing case management or clinical services.

You are the first connection between families and the support they need.

What You’ll Do Community Outreach & Presentations

Present AEIC services at:

  • OB/GYN offices and prenatal clinics
  • Pediatric and family medicine offices
  • Hospitals and healthcare systems
  • WIC offices and community centers
  • Schools, shelters, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations

Build and maintain referral relationships with community partners.

Represent AEIC at health fairs, tabling events, and community forums.

Client Identification & Referrals

Educate families about CPW Medicaid services for:

  • Children (ages 0–21)
  • Pregnant women

Identify individuals who may be eligible for services.

Obtain consent and submit referrals to AEIC.

Support follow-through so clients attend their first comprehensive visit.

Resource Awareness & Discovery (Pre-Enrollment Only)

Maintain familiarity with common community resources (housing, food, utilities, pregnancy supports).

When appropriate, verify general availability of resources (non-client-specific).

Share high-level resource information with the intake team to support smoother enrollment.

Promotion & Visibility

Share AEIC services through community outreach, events and presentations, flyers and approved marketing materials, and personal and professional networks.

Participate in monthly check-ins and trainings to stay aligned with outreach goals.

Compensation (Flat-Rate, Results-Based)
  • Flat-Rate Pay: $30 per enrolled client.
  • Paid only when: client is Medicaid-eligible; client completes their first comprehensive visit with an AEIC Case Manager.
  • No hourly pay.
  • No payment for incomplete or ineligible referrals.
  • AEIC verifies eligibility and completion internally.

This structure rewards quality referrals, not just volume.

Why This Role Matters

Every successful referral means:

  • A pregnant mother receiving support and education.
  • A child gaining access to developmental and health resources.
  • A family navigating systems they couldn’t access alone.

Your outreach directly creates access to care.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You
  • Are a confident communicator and relationship-builder.
  • Enjoy presenting and speaking with professionals and community groups.
  • Are familiar with your local community and resource landscape.
  • Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Have experience in outreach, social services, healthcare, education, or advocacy.
  • Have knowledge of Medicaid, CHIP, WIC, or public health systems (preferred).
Requirements
  • Ability to pass background check, TB test, and drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (can be completed during onboarding).
  • Comfort engaging with underserved and diverse populations.
  • Prior outreach or community engagement experience strongly preferred.
Schedule & Work Style
  • Independent Contractor (1099).
  • Flexible schedule (part-time, full-time, or PRN).
  • Combination of: community-based outreach, remote follow-up, occasional evenings or weekends for events or presentations.

Flexible work from home options available.
