Gift Processing/CRM Specialist

$29/hr contract position

John Evans Recruiting is seeking a Gift Processing/CRM Specialist for our nonprofit client in Lutherville, MD—the Catch A Lift Fund. This is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers post‑9/11 combat‑injured Veterans rebuild strength, confidence, and purpose through fitness, wellness, nutrition, and community.

The fund was founded in memory of Army Corporal Christopher Coffland, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2009. His phrase, "I'm gonna catch a lift," referred to his routine of heading to the gym to re‑energize and refocus.

The Catch A Lift Fund was founded in 2010, has served 15,000 veterans in all 50 states, and has raised $18M to date.

This mission‑driven nonprofit, with a dedicated team of 20 employees, is seeking a Gift Processing/CRM Specialist to provide maternity leave coverage for the next six months.

• Donor gift management
• Gift data entry, disbursement of donor gift reports, receipting, acknowledgements, EOY giving statements, event sponsor payment tracking, event financial crosschecking
• Data management
• Adding new contacts, updating contact notes, crosschecking for duplicates, live auction/donation tracking, reporting
• Event support as needed

• Nonprofit gift processing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work 30 hours a week for a 6 month contract
• Mission-driven (passion to serve veterans is a plus)

$29/hr (no paid time off)

• 30 hours a week= 9am-4pm hours
• 4 day remote work week with Tuesdays in Lutherville, MD office
• Potential to convert to full-time employment (not guaranteed)
