Position: Philanthropy Officer Remote Role BCC
Become a Philanthropy Officer with Breast Cancer Canada, focusing on major gifts from the comfort of your home in the GTHA. This role is pivotal in advancing breast cancer research through donor engagement.

The successful candidate will report to the VP, Philanthropy and contribute to meeting revenue objectives by inspiring major gifts. You'll cultivate existing relationships while searching for new prospects, aiming to establish a solid donor pipeline of 125-150 individuals. Your experience in major donations will directly impact the growth and success of BCC's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate relationships with major gift prospects

• Utilize existing donor database for strategy development

• Research and secure new funding sources for breast cancer initiatives

• Organize grant applications to enhance funding opportunities

• Collaborate with team members in donor stewardship

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in major gift fundraising

• Proficient in grant writing and communication

• Remote working experience with strong time management

• CRM and Microsoft Suite proficiency

• Relevant post-secondary education
