Position: Major Gifts Writer - Hybrid Role
Join Covenant House Toronto as a Major Gifts Writer, focusing on compelling communication for donor engagement in a hybrid, full-time capacity. Play a vital role in supporting a transformative campaign for youth in need.

In this new role within the Development Services team, you will spearhead the creation of persuasive written content aimed at major donors, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders. Your contributions will advance solicitation strategies and foster meaningful relationships with both individuals and organizations at high giving levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead writing for donor proposals and cultivation materials

• Create impactful donor reports capturing campaign success

• Ensure messaging aligns with campaign goals and brand standards

• Collaborate with fundraising teams for clear communication

• Organize campaign-related materials and documentation

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in relevant fields with 3+ years' experience

• Proven track record in major gift fundraising communications

• Ability to craft compelling and clear donor-centric materials

• Strong time management and attention to detail

• Experience with CRM databases such as Raiser’s Edge
