About MomivateMomivate is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering mothers as they raise the next generation. We provide resources, community, and inspiration to help moms thrive in every season of motherhood. We’re looking for volunteers to help with our Mothering Convention on October 10, 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Decides how many volunteers we need by discussing with other Chair Moms their needs;
- Recruits/screens them (checking against lists from last year);
- Coordinates what capacities we need volunteers (hostesses, registration, assembly of materials);
- Makes reminder phone calls;
- Write thank you notes!
- Works closely with Chair Mom of the team to organize team meetings (creates agendas and takes minutes);
- Keeps a current Motherteam roster;
- Sends out reminder emails about meetings
- Sends out summaries about discussions on the Message team
- Dedicate a minimum of 3 hours per week to duties and outreach.
- Attend weekly meeting with Mothering Convention Team
- Attend Mothering Convention all day event, October 10, 2026 in Sandy, Utah
- Communicate proactively if circumstances impact your ability to fulfill responsibilities.
- Contribute to a mission that supports and celebrates mothers
