The Bay Church is seeking an Online Coordinator to be a lead and develop our Online Experience Team while helping create an engaging and welcoming online experience. We are looking for someone committed to continual innovation, leadership development, and creating meaningful digital ministry experiences.

DescriptionThis position works approximately 8 - 12 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Online Hosting Team through scheduling, communication, coaching, and volunteer care
- Prepare online service notes, links, engagement prompts, and key moments within Church Online platforms
- Partner with Production, Worship, and Communications teams to enhance the online worship experience
- Monitor live services and online engagement during weekend services and special weekends
- Recruit, onboard, train, and equip online volunteers
- Help facilitate online prayer, salvations, next steps, and digital connection opportunities
- Create engaging and welcoming experiences for online attendees throughout the weekend experience
- Help develop strategies to increase engagement and connection with online audiences throughout the week
- Track engagement metrics and identify opportunities to improve the online experience
- Attend Weekly Service programming meeting and special weekend planning meetings
- Provide a Pastoral touch to the online experience

- Strong written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and warmly in digital environments
- Experience with Church Online Platform and Planning Center
- Ability to set and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and service details at one time
- Passion for helping people feel welcomed, connected and cared for online succesfully
- Able to build rapport with staff as well as equip volunteers with what they need
