Role Description The Volunteer Google Ad Grants / Nonprofit Ads Specialist will help increase visibility and support for The Animal Cause, Inc. by managing and optimizing the organization’s Google Ad Grants and other nonprofit advertising campaigns. This remote volunteer role involves setting up and maintaining ad accounts, conducting keyword research, creating and testing ad copy, and monitoring campaign performance to improve click-through rates and conversions aligned with animal welfare goals.

The specialist will collaborate with organizational leaders to understand outreach priorities, design campaigns that drive donations, volunteer sign-ups, and program awareness, and provide regular performance reports and recommendations. This is a volunteer role with flexible hours, suitable for individuals who want to use their digital advertising skills to make a positive impact on animal welfare.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Ads or Google Ad Grants, including campaign setup, keyword research, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, such as audience targeting, conversion tracking, and analytics.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling ad copy tailored to nonprofit and advocacy audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, including interpreting data from Google Analytics or similar tools to guide decisions.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, volunteer-based environment and managing time across multiple tasks.
• Interest in animal welfare and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
• Previous nonprofit marketing or fundraising experience is a plus.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct in handling organizational accounts and data.
