CNIB is seeking a passionate Program Intern dedicated to creating equitable communities for those with low vision. You will assist in onboarding volunteers and provide essential tech support for seniors. Additionally, you will conduct evaluations and help develop training resources to ensure volunteers are effective and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support recruitment and onboarding of Vision Mate volunteers
• Conduct evaluations of Vision Mate matches and stories
• Develop training materials for volunteer education
• Provide tech support for clients using smart devices
• Conduct database updates with client information
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse audiences
• Experience in program development and delivery
• Proficiency in MS Office and virtual platforms
• Understanding of accessibility issues and championing diversity
