Reports To: Director of Membership and Programs
Status: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Location: Delaware County, Ohio (Community-based with some remote work)
Position SummaryThe Part-Time County Program Coordinator for Delaware County serves as the local representative of NAMI Mid-Ohio and is responsible for coordinating NAMI programs, supporting volunteers, and building community partnerships within the county. This role ensures consistent, high-quality delivery of NAMI education, support, and outreach services aligned with affiliate standards.
Key Responsibilities Program Coordination- Coordinate NAMI education, support, and outreach programs based on county needs.
- Work closely with NAMI Mid-Ohio staff to schedule and promote services.
- Ensure all programming follows NAMI model guidelines and fidelity standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for county-based volunteers.
- Assist with recruitment, communication, and coordination of local volunteers.
- Share volunteer needs and updates with NAMI Mid-Ohio staff.
- Build relationships with local agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners and stakeholders.
- Represent NAMI Mid-Ohio at community meetings and events.
- Promote NAMI programs and mental health awareness locally.
- Serve as a local NAMI contact for collaboration and referrals.
- Track program participation and basic outcome data.
- Submit required reports to NAMI Mid-Ohio in a timely manner.
- Communicate county updates and needs to NAMI Mid-Ohio leadership.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and community engagement skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently in a part-time role
- Reliable transportation within the county
- Lived experience with mental health challenges or a loved one with mental health challenges
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn local community resources
- Reliable transportation required
- Regular part-time schedule averaging 20 hours per week
- Some evening and occasional weekend hours required
