Position: Major Gift Officer Hybrid Role

The Major Gift Officer at WRHN plays a vital role in advancing transformational fundraising efforts. Oversee a portfolio of 100-125 major gift prospects while developing tailored engagement strategies and solidifying significant contributions. Collaborate closely with Foundation leadership, hospital staff, and volunteers to secure major gifts ranging from $25,000 to over $1 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 100-125 major gift prospects and donors

• Lead the creation of major gift proposals

• Conduct meetings to advance relationships

• Develop stewardship plans for all major donors

• Participate in special fundraising programs

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years in fundraising or relationship management

• Experience in healthcare or nonprofit environments

• Strong skills in proposal writing and donor engagement

• CFRE designation is a plus

• High level of professionalism and ethics
