Position Summary:
All Aboard Ohio is seeking a Volunteer Fundraising Researcher to identify grant, foundation, corporate sponsorship,
and major-donor prospects that align with AAO's mission and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Research foundations, corporate giving programs, and grant opportunities relevant to transportation and
transit nonprofits
- Research potential major-donor prospects and their giving history or areas of interest
- Compile organized prospect lists with relevant details and Final date to receive applicationss
- Track upcoming grant deadlines and share with the board and fundraising team
- Interest in nonprofit fundraising or development
- Comfortable with online research
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Visibility into how a growing nonprofit builds its funding base
- Collaboration with the board on fundraising strategy
