REMOTE VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERSHIP LIAISON - STUDENT OPPORTUNITY About

The Role

Believe in Me supports youth and young people through scholarships, education initiatives, community partnerships, and volunteer expertise. The Scholarship Partnership Liaison will connect our scholarship program with schools, colleges, counselors, youth-serving nonprofits, community organizations, donors, alumni, and employers.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and cultivate prospective scholarship outreach and referral partners.
  • Share accurate scholarship eligibility, application, timeline, and contact information.
  • Coordinate outreach to counselors, educators, community leaders, student-support programs, and higher-education partners.
  • Maintain a partnership pipeline, contact notes, follow-up schedule, and outcome reporting.
  • Gather partner feedback and recommend improvements to outreach materials and applicant support.
  • Collaborate with scholarship, marketing, communications, fundraising, data, and community-partnership volunteers.
  • Represent Believe in Me professionally and protect student and partner privacy.
Ideal Experience

Education, scholarships, college access, community outreach, partnership development, counseling, nonprofit programs, alumni relations, or relationship management. Strong communication, organization, cultural humility, and reliable follow-through are important.

TIME AND LOCATION

Remote and flexible, approximately 2-3 hours per week. Washington and Pacific Northwest connections are especially useful, but volunteers may participate from elsewhere.

IMPACT AND SUPPORT

Your relationship-building will help more students discover and successfully pursue scholarship opportunities. Volunteers receive orientation, approved program information, outreach materials, collaboration tools, and access to scholarship-program leadership.
