Responsible for leading and executing a comprehensive annual giving program that increases Riverside Foundation's ability to acquire new donors, regain lapsed donors, and retain current donors through a comprehensive annual giving program. The Annual Giving Manager is also responsible for growing Riverside Foundation's donor base within the communities we serve, with a focus on grateful patients and families—elevating Riverside Foundation as a gift destination while building a prospect pipeline.
This individual will leverage strong writing skills and direct marketing expertise to create compelling campaigns that resonate with target audiences and inspire action. The position reports to the Director of Donor Engagement & Communications and works closely with our Annual Giving Coordinator. The Annual Giving Manager oversees multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities and will be measured by key performance indicators and fundraising metrics.
you will do
- Implements a strategic annual giving program designed to expand and strengthen the Riverside Foundation's donor base. Plays a key role in developing and fine-tuning the program, setting objectives, strategies, and benchmarks to drive revenue growth, primarily from individual donors. In addition, manages and oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of various fundraising campaigns across multiple channels, including direct mail, email, social media, and the web.
- Leverages strong writing skills to create compelling direct marketing messages that engage donors and drive action. Focuses on developing persuasive narratives and clear calls to action across all fundraising platforms.
- Utilizes the donor database to monitor and analyze donor data, preparing regular reports for leadership on campaign performance, donor trends, and giving patterns to support informed strategic decision-making.
- Manages vendor relationships to ensure productivity, maintain quality control, and enhance overall effectiveness.
- Bachelors Degree, Related Field (Required)
- 3-4 years Experience in annual giving office with direct campaign management responsibility (Required)
- 1 year Graphic design or computer aided design experience for print and digital publication (Required)
- 2 years Experience with CRM software, preferably Raiser's Edge (Required)
- 1 year Experience working for a health-related non-profit organization, foundation (Preferred)
