Instagram Lead (Volunteer): Promote Trans Rights - Remote

Gender Freedom Society is a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit based virtually in the United States. We are dedicated to educating and supporting the transgender community while striving to normalize transgender existence within broader society. Through educational platforms, outreach efforts, and moderated social media, we cultivate a culture where transgender rights are respected, and gender diversity is celebrated as vital to human identity.

Candidates for this position must be residents of North America.

The (Volunteer) Instagram Lead is responsible for managing the organization's presence on Instagram, with a focus on creating and executing strategies to increase engagement and reach.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement and reach on the organization's Instagram account.
• Create and schedule posts, including text, images, and videos.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop and implement content and advertising campaigns.
• Moderating comments and messages, responding to inquiries, and providing customer service.
• Analyze performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and use them to inform and optimize future strategies.
• Attend meetings, events, and other functions as needed to represent the organization and advance Instagram goals.

• 2+ years of experience managing Instagram accounts.
• Strong understanding of social media best practices and metrics.
• Experience with Instagram's advertising platform and Insights.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
