This Project Coordinator role at Virginia Commonwealth University will manage day-to-day activities for a grant-funded partnership project between VCU and RISE for Youth focused on system-involved youth in Virginia. The position involves coordinating meetings with community partners and young people, creating an advisory group, conducting focus groups, writing reports, recruiting participants, and planning community events. This is a part-time, primarily remote position (10-15 hours per week) with occasional in-person meetings in Richmond, VA.
Keyqualifications
- Experience working with a community organization
- Experience working with young people
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office products or similar software
- Flexible schedule
- Experience with virtual meeting software
