Outreach Coordinator

This non-exempt, hourly position offers 20-25 hours per week, with a pay rate starting between $23-$27 per hour. Literations follows a hybrid work model, with a 60/40 split: 60% of your time will be spent engaging with the community in Boston and its neighborhoods, and 40% will be spent working from home. Available work hours must fall between 9 AM and 6 PM EST.

Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Outreach Coordinator is responsible for recruiting new volunteers in the Boston area to serve as Literacy Coaches. The Outreach Coordinator will build relationships with community partners and influencers, conduct information sessions, and promote Literations volunteer opportunities online and in-person, with an immediate emphasis in Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan. The Outreach Coordinator will also work occasional nights and weekends to represent Literations at community events.
