Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts: Project and Communications Officer Job (Remote

The Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts is seeking a freelance Project and Communications Officer to join the team. This six-month contract (at three days per week) presents an opportunity to contribute to activities that champion and support socially engaged arts across Europe.

The Project and Communications Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Alliance’s activities, providing coordination, financial and administrative support across grants and contracts, as well as contributing to communications, content management, meetings, and events.

The Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts is looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who is interested in working closely with philanthropic foundations, arts organisations, and practitioners, and who is passionate about the role of the arts in advancing positive social change.

This is a fully remote working position, with occasional travel for meetings and events in Europe (approximately 2-4 trips during the contract period). Applicants must be based in the EU or the UK and have the right to travel for work without requiring visa sponsorship.

The preferred start date is October 2026, with flexibility for an earlier or later start date depending on the selected candidate’s availability.
