Position Summary

Employee Contract Type:
Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)

The purpose of the Program Coordinator position is to improve and sustain the well-being of children and their families by implementing ADP Plan/Program Design with partners, including high quality monitoring and reporting, documented to meet Partnership standards (SOP&IPF, SSO/Sponsorship Service Operation and CP Standards). The role supports organisational readiness and response during emergencies, ensuring timely, coordinated, and accountable delivery of assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development & Planning:
    Prepare the development of SOP and IPF program annual plan according to organisational standards; develop specific strategy for program implementation in ADP level to meet donor and government policy; support data information for strategy development.
  • Resource Acquisition & Management:
    Identify funding gaps beyond child sponsorship; propose SOP and IPF budget; ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Capacity Building:
    Contextualise national training materials; provide technical advice to ADP team and partners; build community and child participation skills; identify and assess capacity of ADP staff and partners; serve as a resource on SOP and IPF issues.
  • Accountability & Quality Assurance:
    Monitor program implementation to meet standards, provide feedback using review tools, enhance use of Horizon/IMPAQ, oversee child recruitment and sponsorship phase-out processes, submit monthly reports with analytical data.
  • Networking & Coordination:
    Communicate Wahana Visi Indonesia identity and values; develop linkages with stakeholders; coordinate with Sponsorship unit, CESP Zone, CP Unit and IT to maintain and improve monitoring systems.
  • Management & Leadership:
    Facilitate teamwork and coordination; monitor context and recommend adjustments; manage risks related to fraud, safeguarding, and other risks; ensure alignment with ITT and budget targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, Public Health, Psychology, Development Studies, or other relevant disciplines; a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Completed DPA/APA and Partnering Training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Coordinator specializing in Community Engagement and Sponsorship/Technical Programs.
  • Proficiency in English communication or equal with TOEFL Score 450.
  • Ability to move freely, indoors and outdoors, to conduct site visits, meetings, and other activities.
  • Commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance, considering travel and fieldwork demands.
  • Proficient in implementing operational models with partners; experienced in managing Field Facilitators and Sponsorship Officers.
  • Skilled in using MS Teams, Zoom, e‑mail and other applications; strong analytical, interpersonal, and facilitation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
