Remote Disability Awareness Trainer

Position: Remote Disability Awareness Trainer Role
Drive change as a Remote Disability Awareness Trainer with the Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN). Focus on disability-inclusive hiring and cultivate employer partnerships across Ontario.

This role at ODEN involves training and consulting for businesses, aiming to foster inclusivity for people with disabilities in the workplace. You will engage with employers, deliver specialized training, and develop outreach materials that resonate with diverse audiences. Be a part of a team dedicated to improving employment access through education and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Disability Awareness Training tailored for employers

• Encourage the hiring of individuals with disabilities

• Develop sector-specific training resources and toolkits

• Coordinate job opportunities with community Employment Service agencies

• Represent ODEN at conferences and community events

Requirements:

• Strong background in training and disability inclusion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
