Join the Rick Hansen Foundation as a Youth Engagement Coordinator and empower youth voices in a fully remote position. This full-time role emphasizes leadership and inclusivity within the community.
Working under the Manager of the Rick Hansen Foundation School Program, you will directly interact with youth through programs like the Difference Maker of the Year Awards and the Youth Leadership Committee. You'll facilitate mentorship and advocate for youth with and without disabilities, encouraging an inclusive society while expanding our global network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the Difference Maker of the Year Awards planning
• Coordinate nomination processes and promotional efforts
• Act as the liaison for Youth Leadership Committee members
• Research and facilitate mentorship and networking opportunities
• Maintain program data for reporting and surveys
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in youth engagement or program coordination
• Proficiency in relevant software and virtual meeting tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms
• Knowledge of disability advocacy and inclusive practices
