This full-time role is critical in identifying and building relationships with major gift donors across British Columbia. You will manage a portfolio focused on securing contributions while collaborating with various teams to maximize fundraising outcomes and community awareness of the Wilder Institute's initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift prospects
• Meet ambitious fundraising targets and reporting metrics
• Create donor-centric proposals and engagement plans
• Strengthen community partnerships and visibility for the Institute
• Manage donor engagement and follow-up activities
Requirements:
• 5–10 years in major gift fundraising or related fields
• Demonstrable success in securing five- and six-figure gifts
• Solid project management and multitasking capabilities
• Proficiency with CRM tools like Tessitura is a plus
• Valid driver's license for travel requirements
