About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Program Development Officer to design and implement new initiatives from a remote setting. - Identify emerging community needs and conceptualize new program ideas to address them.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop detailed project proposals, including budgets and timelines.
- Secure funding for new programs through grant writing and donor engagement.
- Oversee the initial implementation phase of new programs, ensuring they are set up for success.
- Collaborate remotely with internal teams and external partners to ensure program alignment and effectiveness.
- Monitor program performance, evaluate outcomes, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Master's degree in social sciences, international development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program design, development, and management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong research, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
- Demonstrated success in securing funding and managing project budgets.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
