Program Director - Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association
Lead Meaningful, Christ-Centered Programming by the Sea
Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA), a historic year-round Christian community founded in 1869, is seeking a Christ-centered Program Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for worship, spiritual formation, performing arts, community events, recreation, and guest experiences.
The OpportunityReporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working with the Program Chair and Committee, the Program Director will develop and oversee mission-aligned programming that helps people of all generations experience Christian community, spiritual growth, culture, and recreation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and oversee an annual programming strategy aligned with OGCMA's mission and Christian heritage.
- Coordinate worship services, Gospel Musical Ministries, retreats, and spiritual formation programs.
- Lead concerts, performing arts, community traditions, and major seasonal events.
- Build relationships with artists, speakers, vendors, ministry partners, and community stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and support staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers.
- Manage program budgets, contracts, scheduling, communications, and operations.
- Oversee Grove Hall Retreat and Conference Center and The HUB Welcome Center.
- Provide leadership for recreation, hospitality, and guest experiences.
- Evaluate programs for quality, participation, sustainability and mission alignment.
The ideal candidate is a servant-hearted, organized, and collaborative Christian leader with:
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Ministry, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field required; M.Div. or Theology preferred.
- Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with OGCMA's Statement of Faith.
- Experience leading programs in ministry, nonprofit, cultural, hospitality, or related settings.
- Experience managing staff, volunteers, budgets, vendors, timelines, and multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Creativity, sound judgment, conflict-resolution skills, and a collaborative approach.
This is a full-time leadership position requiring regular involvement in Sunday services, evening/weekend programs, retreats, concerts, and seasonal events. Summer and other peak seasons require increased flexibility.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $80,000-$115,000, based on experience
