The Campus Living Engagement Coordinator (CLEC) role is a 12-month, full-time, live-on position, reporting directly to an Assistant Director. Each CLEC directly supervises a Graduate Assistant and leads a team of 4-8 student employees. Collectively, the team provides support and resources toward emerging and/or complex initiatives as part of the community engagement framework. The CLEC collaborates with CLC staff and other key partners to develop and implement programs and initiatives that support student success in a designated area.
The CLEC position serves in the rotating Tier 2 on-call team coverage, including weekday, weekend, and holidays. This includes response to wide-ranging, high-level critical incidents including providing emergency/crisis support and consultative assistance for the Community Assistant Tier 1 on-call staff.
In the summer months, Coordinators assist in the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of summer student staff; respond to emergencies, critical incidents and concerns during scheduled on-call shifts; and oversee building preparations and room turnover in designated buildings housing student and non-student occupants.

35% - Campus Living Community Engagement Framework

• Implement determined priorities for the departmental community engagement framework that supports the education and growth of members of the Campus Living Communities (CLCs).
• Work as an engagement team to support and manage additional focus and resources toward emerging and/or complex initiatives that support the community engagement framework.
• Collaborate with CLC staff and other key partners to develop and implement programs and initiatives that support student success and provide targeted resources for community members in specific CLCs.
• Manage and assess ongoing engagement planning and implementation, including annual and special assessment data related to student learning, community development and inclusion, student engagement and retention, and community member satisfaction. Utilize data for process enhancement (e.g., Campus Living Experience, climate surveys, Pulse Survey, First-Year Success Inventory).
• Run and monitor community programming reports; identify and share high-impact practices, trends, and opportunities for community member education or engagement activities.
• Support students, staff, and Campus Living in advancing the departmental vision, mission, and foundational value areas.
• Complete assigned project work that supports Campus Living foundational values, Student Affairs priorities, and the NAU Strategic Roadmap.
• Lead the coordination and/or participate in the implementation of Campus Living Signature Events/Programs intended to enhance the NAU campus living experience, including Welcome Jacks move-in assistance programs, The Letters event and other large-scale efforts; collaborate in planning…
