The mission of the Lake Region Healthcare Foundation is to gather, steward, and distribute resources needed to support and advance the mission of Lake Region Healthcare. Gifts of all types and sizes support everything from equipment and technology to our Cancer Center, spiritual care, and more. The Foundation Donor Relations Specialist (DRS) focuses primarily on donor engagement, donor recognition and stewardship, and supporting the overall development of LRH Foundation resources in partnership with the Development team. The role is comprised of:(85%) Donor Relations:
Leading donor stewardship and retention strategies, impact reporting, donor communications and recognition. Working in collaboration with Marketing to design and track donor journey/experience to capture and share stories. Develop a strategy that ensures donors feel appreciated, recognized and valued for their generosity.(15%) Working in collaboration with the Foundation Development Team to assist with gift processing, planning and execution of foundation-hosted events, and assist with securing financial resources for the LRH Foundation as well as other duties as needed to support the culture of generosity across the enterprise.

The DRS interacts regularly with donors, employees, management, providers, and volunteers. Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this position to ensure donors stay engaged and move along the donor pipeline. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality as well as established work procedures and must be able to determine priorities within imposed deadlines.

Hours/Shifts
40 hours biweekly, day shift, Monday-Friday. Work may sometimes include long hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, if necessary. Position will likely include off-site meetings with donors and community partners across the region. Hybrid/remote work option will be considered.

Compensation The hourly wage range for this role is $34.20-$45.51/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Education Education/Special

Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Development, Philanthropy or a related field. Non-Profit Fundraising, Foundation, Capital Campaign, and/or applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process is required.

Must be able to accommodate a flexible, remote/hybrid work schedule.

Proficiency with Microsoft platforms and CRM system(s).Experience

Experience with donor relations, fundraising, event planning, and some level of digital CRM platforms (Raisers Edge NXT preferred). Must be able to work collaboratively, under pressure, and able to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Healthcare background preferred.

Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, creativity, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with other applications (Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT or other CRMs) and dashboards.
