Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience
Position SummaryCenterville Post Acute is seeking an experienced and high-performing MDS Registered Nurse to lead assessment accuracy, reimbursement strategy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role is ideal for a clinician who understands the impact of PDPM, case-mix index, and clinical documentation on quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. Centerville Post Acute is also willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, analytical thinking, and a commitment to excellence.
The MDS RN plays a critical role in aligning clinical excellence with operational efficiency and long-term sustainability.
What You Will Own- MDS accuracy, strategy, and execution
- PDPM optimization
- CMI growth and sustainability
- Clinical documentation integrity
- Interdisciplinary alignment
- Continuous improvement systems
- Oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of MDS assessments
- Lead PDPM optimization and case-mix index management
- Ensure clinical documentation integrity and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to align care delivery with reimbursement and quality goals
- Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Support survey readiness and quality assurance activities
- Provide education and guidance related to MDS processes and best practices
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- MDS experience preferred, with willingness to learn and grow in the role
- Strong knowledge of PDPM, case-mix optimization, or demonstrated ability to develop this expert skills, analytical and data-driven approach to decision making
