We're seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. In this role, you'll deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions, while working closely with our provider and support teams. This is a great opportunity for a clinician with at least 3 years experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings.

This is a Full-Time role (40 hours/week) reporting to the Urgent Care Manager.

This role requires an active RN compact license and licensure in multiple states. Ideal candidates will hold five or more active state licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
  • Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner
  • Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients
  • Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate
  • Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care
  • Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results
  • Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends


Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, with prior graduation from an accredited nursing school.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in accordance with state requirements
  • Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
  • Active RN compact license
  • Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
  • Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
  • Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
  • Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
  • Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
  • Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
  • Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior telemedicine or video-based virtual care experience
  • Experience with Athena EMR
Full Time Contractual Scheduling Requirements

  • 2,080 annual hours (40 hrs/week)
  • Weekday evening shifts: 8 hrs scheduled between 5pm-11pm in clinician’s time zone
  • Weekend shifts:
    Required every fourth weekend, with both Saturday and Sunday coverage. Each shift is 8 hours, scheduled between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM (clinician’s local time), with a rotation between day and evening shifts.
  • Holiday shifts: 3 per calendar year

Full-Time: 40hrs/wk min - $123,000/yr on average with guaranteed base + equity + benefits. Additionally, Included Health offers productivity incentives for employees who exceed the visit target. Details of the incentive structure will be discussed during the interview process.
