As a physician-facing organization, we are passionate about high-value, top quality care made accessible in every community we serve. Join our team as an RN Practitioner. In the RN Practitioner role you will:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for rapid assessment nursing diagnosis.
- Work with MD partners to assure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal plan of care.
- Perform advanced practice procedures.
- Utilize the nursing process to promote/restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.
- Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 1 year of experience in a clinical or advance practice setting, preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- Master's Degree in Nursing as Nurse Practitioner, from a nationally accredited postgraduate certificate program required.
- Graduate from an Accredited School Of Nursing required
- Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty.
- RN License required
- BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.
- Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Primary inpatient responsibilities include rounding, consults, H&P documentation, and coordination of post-op/discharge care for all orthopedic cases and patients. Occasional first-assist duties may occur.
Inpatient experience in Orthopedics or Orthopedic Trauma strongly preferred
