Family Nurse Practitioner

H.E.A.L. Mississippi is located near the center of Jackson, MS

This part-time hybrid role, based in Jackson, MS, offers the flexibility of both on-site and remote work as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The practitioner will provide patient-centered care, with responsibilities including performing assessments, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and managing primary and urgent care needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other healthcare professionals, developing treatment plans, and educating patients about preventative care and chronic disease management.

• Expertise as a Nurse Practitioner, with an active and unencumbered license
• Strong foundation in Nursing and Primary Care
• Skills in Medicine and managing acute and chronic conditions
• Experience providing care in both Primary and Urgent Care settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and team collaboration
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid (on-site and remote) work environment
• Commitment to serving underserved and rural communities
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing and national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner required
