RN - Registered Nurse - Senior Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist - CCDS Certification

• Review inpatient medical records within 24-48 hours of admission to ensure accurate documentation for diagnoses and procedures
• Attend physician rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings to facilitate documentation discussions
• Provide ongoing education to physicians and healthcare providers about clinical documentation improvement
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other clinical professionals to resolve documentation queries prior to patient discharge
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational information

• Current CDI certification (CCDS or CDIP)
• Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a Multistate License
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing work experience
• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required)
• Strong understanding of Anatomy and Physiology

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (AAPC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
• Experience in clinical documentation improvement programs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
