Location: New York
A fully remote telepsychiatry program is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) for contract‑based, locum‑style work. This opportunity offers maximum flexibility, allowing providers to choose their schedule, patient volume, and assignment length while delivering outpatient psychiatric care from home.
PMHNPs manage adult patients through virtual psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow‑up visits. Compensation is visit‑based, giving providers control over earnings while maintaining clinical autonomy. New graduates are welcome if clinically confident and comfortable in a telehealth environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and follow‑ups
- Manage and adjust psychiatric medications
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Collaborate with therapists and consulting clinicians
- Provide patient‑centered care in a remote setting
- Comfortable practicing independently via telehealth
- Strong communication and clinical judgment
