Role DescriptionThis is a contract hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Huntsville, AL, with flexibility for partial remote work. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health conditions, managing care plans, and delivering effective psychiatric care. The role also involves working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs.
Qualifications- Expertise in Mental Health Nursing, including diagnosing and treating mental health conditions
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner with specialized knowledge in Psychiatric Care
- Strong background in Mental Health Care and Nursing practices
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and certification in psychiatric nursing
- Ability to provide empathetic and patient-centric care in a collaborative environment
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
