American Traveler is seeking a credentialed Oncology Data Specialist (Tumor Registrar) for a remote, day‑shift contract position requiring an ODS certificate and prior Cancer Registry experience.
Responsibilities- Fully remote position supporting an acute care medical center's cancer registry program
- Day shift, 8‑hour shifts
- 13‑week contract
- Responsibilities include oncology data collection, abstraction, and management within the cancer registry
- Position falls under the Trauma Registrar sub‑modality within the Nursing category
- Active CA RN license required
- Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certificate required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cancer Registry
- Associate's degree or equivalent (minimum 60 college‑level credits) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be a W‑2 employee of the placing agency
