Job Summary
Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Maryland.
CompensationFee for Service (W2) position, range $141,000-$203,000 per year based on 25-35 clinical hours per week.
Responsibilities- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity.
- Willingness to treat clients 14 years old and up.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed.
- Create and collaborate with clients on care plans.
- Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at various sites.
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner;
Board Certification required. - Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
- Licensed in the state of practice and currently living in that state.
- Experience:
1 year of psychiatry practice required; 3 years of overall nursing experience considered a plus. - Understanding of Advanced
MD (AMD) EMR is a plus. - Must complete in‑house ADHD treatment training and certification exam; enrollment in ADHD Clinic required.
- Will treat ADHD clients but no prescription or client quotas.
