US Anesthesia Partners & Healthe Path are seeking a responsible Nurse Practitioner to manage day to day operations in Jacksonville, FL.
Job HighlightsUS Anesthesia Partners & Healthe Path is an innovative perioperative clinical decision support platform looking to hire an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. This is a digital community practice that leverages evidence based medicine and patient education to risk stratify and guide patients through the perioperative continuum. This is a contract to hire position that is 80% remote and 20% at the local hospital / client site.
Ideal candidate will live in the Jacksonville, FL region. We are currently seeking applicants with licensure in the state of FL, with a strong preference for practitioners licensed in multiple states (or willingness to expand).
We are looking for a responsible Nurse Practitioner to manage day to day operations of the Healthe Path program and oversee several support personnel. The role will manage the asynchronous patient intake queue to ensure accuracy of patient information, clinical conflicts, post‑operative digital recovery tracking, and identification of necessary outreach and referral appropriateness. Customer success is imperative, and this role will interface with the local pre‑operative admission testing center.
A great Nurse Practitioner is a highly qualified professional and a compassionate individual. You must have prior experience in a remote work environment and perioperative care. Moreover, thoughtful engagement and soft skills with surgeon offices and anesthesiologists are required.
- Conduct routine reviews of patient digital intake (asynchronous) to assess their health condition and discover possible issues as a patient prepares for surgery.
- Perform asynchronous clinical review of patient chart for the appropriate referral.
- Manage support staff (likely medical assistants) for timeliness of outreach, patient engagement, and asynchronous clinical reviews (when appropriate).
- Continuously attend to customer‑success factors, such as early identification of patient escalation(s), application troubleshooting, triaging, and active involvement in select client/hospital operations (PAT clinic).
- Daily manage the patient queue for processing to the client’s pre‑admission testing center.
- Gain proficiency of the software and operational processes.
- Maintain ongoing attention to clinical technology enhancements and identify needs for the IT team.
- Collaborate with client/hospital pre‑admission testing team, surgeons, surgeon office staff, and others to support customer success and patient navigation.
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner and in perioperative care.
- Prior management experience and collaboration with medical assistants.
- Proficiency in using telehealth applications.
- Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
- Familiarity with perioperative clinical pathways for patient clearance appropriateness.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Respect for patient confidentiality.
- Compassionate and approachable demeanor.
- Management of clinical support staff.
- Ability to travel (and have transportation) to client site periodically.
- Responsible and trustworthy.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state of FL.
