Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – PRN. Work locations include McDonough, Decatur, Atlanta Metro, and Lawrenceville, GA. Pay: $35 to $40 per hour.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Sunday, PRN (your schedule). Pay Range: $35 to $40 per hour.

Qualifications
  • Experience with catheters.
  • Experience with wound care.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with PEG tube feeding.
  • Experience with medication administration via PEG tube.
  • Ability to provide care for a client needing home care.
  • Possesses a valid, current license under the GA State Board of Nursing.
  • General knowledge of disease processes and medication action.
Responsibilities
  • Implement the client’s Care Plan and provide direct nursing care of sub‑acute, chronically ill, and convalescent clients.
  • Administer medications and therapeutic treatments according to a prescribed regimen.
  • Monitor client’s condition, including the effectiveness of treatments and medications.
  • Notify the supervisor of changes in client’s condition.
  • Teach the client appropriate self‑care techniques.
  • Document accurately and submit timely the nursing notes, according to agency standards.
