A remote position to serve primarily the southwest part of Ohio, providing reliable transportation and mileage reimbursement.

At the direction of the supervisor, enforces standards for pre‑licensure nursing education programs and training programs as established by laws and rules; consults and advises administrators of nursing education programs; plans and conducts survey visits to ensure compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing requirements. Analyzes, develops, implements, and evaluates programs of the Board, drafts policies for action by the Board, collects, analyzes, and prepares reports of data relating to nursing education and makes appropriate recommendations.

Develops, implements, and evaluates program goals and policies. Monitors trends regarding assigned program area; coordinates assignments and preparation of all reports to the Board concerning the assigned program area; responds to inquiries; provides consultation and advice to administrators of nursing education programs, the health care community, licensees and/or members of the public. Represents the Board, Executive Director and/or Supervisor at selected meetings and conferences;

staffs and/or serves as liaison to advisory groups; maintains continuous personal contacts with nurses, nursing administrators, the assistant attorney general’s office and the general public; ensures accuracy and timeliness of work activities in the assigned program area to prevent adverse results. Operates a personal computer to edit, enter and/or verify data and to produce reports and documents.

Performs other duties as assigned, such as attending staff meetings, seminars, continuing education events; makes recommendations and assists in implementation of new and/or proposed rule changes, policies and procedures.

• Completion of a graduate core program in nursing, education, management, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a registered nurse.
• Minimum thirty‑six (36) months experience in management.
• Board and Commission Compliance.
