Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; PMHNP

MHBH seeks an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Integrated Team with Maine Health Pediatrics in Kennebunk, Maine. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric consultation and care to children and young adults in a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic, educating the care team on psychiatric approaches to behavioral health conditions.
Previous PMHNP experience working with pediatrics required. Schedule:
Part Time (benefits eligible) 20 hours per week, potential hybrid (onsite with some remote work) options.

• Complete diagnostic evaluation and health screening.
• Prescribe medical treatment within scope of practice.
• Provide ongoing medication assessment, education, and management.
• Provide therapeutic treatment in face‑to‑face and tele‑psychiatric evaluations.
• Develop and record an effective treatment plan for patients in a community‑based setting.
• Complete medical records timely per policy.

• Master's degree as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a PMHNP.
• Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner by the Maine State Board of Nursing, qualified to perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Must meet specific credentialing criteria for hospital work as defined by Medical Staff By‑Laws.
• Advanced skill and knowledge in conducting psychiatric evaluations and treating psychiatric patients.
