Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pain Care Management

For a limited time, Maine Health is offering a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience.

Eligibility Details
  • Eligible candidates are hired into a full or part‑time RN position. Bonus prorated for part‑time hires, per‑diems ineligible.
  • Current Maine Health employees are ineligible; former employees are ineligible until greater than six months separation.
Role Overview

Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care in the Pain Care Management team, based onsite with clinics in Kennebunk and Sanford.

The schedule consists of four days per week with rotating days. Once fully oriented, the role offers the flexibility to work from home one day per week. The position includes a sign‑on bonus, relocation reimbursement (if applicable), flexible schedule, no weekends, no on‑call requirements, and no major holidays.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with ideally a BSN and 2–3 years of nursing experience, eager to contribute to a dynamic, collaborative environment where teamwork is valued and every voice is heard. Responsibilities focus on clerical triage care with occasional patient‑facing duties.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality care to patients and families via assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Perform a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care.
  • Maintain competency within RN II scope, developing skills for all patient types, and demonstrating ability to obtain resources for skill development.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse;
    Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience:

    One year of recent RN experience. Automatic advancement from RN I level upon completion of onboarding requirements, including New Grad Residency where available.
