Position: Part Time Nurse Practitioner- Evernorth- Auburn Hills, MI at The Cigna Group Auburn Hills, MI

Part Time Nurse Practitioner – Evernorth – Auburn Hills, MI

Part time (24 hours per week) Nurse Practitioner position at Evernorth Direct Health.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Primary Care treatment in an employer-based setting.
  • Deliver episodic care (low acuity urgent care).
  • Extended episodic acute care, including 4‑5 visits for a short‑term illness or injury.
  • Chronic condition education and co‑management with outside primary care if not PCP.
  • Perform CLIA‑waived tests, dispense prescription medications, and oversee a specimen collection lab.
  • Collaborate with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health and wellness education.
  • Recommend and administer travel medicine immunizations or allergen immunotherapy when properly trained.
  • Provide one‑on‑one health coaching to employees and refer patients to wellness programs.
  • Work well with members of the health‑care team (MA, LPN) and manage their workflow.
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers and in group settings.
  • Partner with local HR/Benefits teams to improve employee health.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Certified NP program.
  • Active and unrestricted NP license in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 3 years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine or family practice setting.
  • Ability to practice independently in the state.
  • DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • BLS certification.
Preferred
  • Experience in chronic disease management.
  • Passionate about overall health and wellness and patient education.
  • High energy and strong customer‑centric focus.
