** is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Suffolk, VA.
** Sign On Bonus of up to $15,000 for qualified candidates.
**** About the department:
** PACU8 Bay Unit - Recover for OR, Endo, Cath, and IVR8 hour shift - 8:00am - 5 days a week - Call 2 overnights a pay period, 2 weekends in a row with 12 weekends off, one holiday a year.

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.

The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas
** Education
* ** Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
* Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
** Certification/Licensure
*** Registered nursing License (Required)
* ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
* PALS within 1 year of hire.
* BLS required within 90 days of hire
** Experience
* ** 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care nursing (preferred)
* PACU/Procedural experience highly preferred#Talroo-Nursing: PACU, Post Op, pre-post, procedural nursing, Registered Nurse.
