Sentara Care Plex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Unit.

Location: Hampton, VA
Work Shift: Third (Nights) – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

• RN‑Associate’s Degree
• RN‑Bachelor’s Degree
• RN‑Diploma
• RN‑Master’s Degree

Unit Description

This 24‑bed unit serves as the designated Stroke Unit. We care for respiratory‑compromised patients on BiPAP, high‑flow oxygen, and chronic long‑term ventilation. We titrate vasoactive infusions and use bedside monitors. Patient caseload includes DKA, CHF, pneumonia, and many other conditions.
