Position Summary
Provide high quality patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics, policies and procedures of the Student Health Center. Oversee adherence to patients' rights and responsibilities.
Qualifications Required EducationBachelor's Degree in Nursing and NYS Nurse Practitioner license in appropriate specialty with prescription privileges, and DEA registration or completion of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program and a New York State Physician Assistant license.
Preferred EducationMaster's Degree
Required Experience3+ years of relevant experience in ambulatory or primary care setting including 2 years as an adult or family Nurse Practitioner or an equivalent combination or 3 years of relevant experience in a primary care setting as a Physician Assistant.
Preferred ExperienceStudent health experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Must have BLS certification.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesWillingness and ability to meet demanding and flexible work schedule.
Additional InformationIn compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $ to USD $.
