Position Summary
Total Behavioral Health, a virtual mental‑health practice based in Texas, seeks a licensed Physician Assistant (PA‑C) with Psych. Certification or a Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide virtual care for Texas‑based patients. Candidates must live in the Houston area and the position is hybrid.
Responsibilities- Have fun and do good.
- Make our patients' day and provide excellent patient experience.
- Follow all company policies and protocols in the normal course of business.
- Exercise sound medical decision‑making abilities.
- Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, advising management as needed.
- Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate records in EMR and adhere to all HIPAA protocols.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Be awesome!
- 1 year of experience in behavioral health.
- No current or pending malpractice lawsuits.
- PMHNP Certification or PA‑C with Psych. Certification.
- Texas medical board licensure / APRN.
- Active state license in good standing.
- Active DEA Certificate preferred, but not required.
- Active Controlled Substance Registration.
- Team player.
- Positive attitude.
- Comfortable using computers.
- High attention to detail.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and team‑oriented behavior; respect management and team members; be punctual, dependable, goal oriented, and open to constructive coaching.
Houston, Texas (hybrid).
Salary$120,000 - $170,000 per year.
