Position Summary

The Staff Nurse supports Minimally Invasive surgical patients through coordination of care, patient education, and communication across multidisciplinary teams. This position blends outpatient clinic support with administrative coordination. The Staff Nurse works behind the scenes to ensure seamless patient care coordination, surgery scheduling, communication management, and clinical workflow support. This is a primarily administrative and patient coordination role, not a bedside nursing position.

The Staff Nurse may spend a clinic day scheduling surgeries, educating patients on what to expect before and after procedures, and following up with patients who require additional support. Administrative days focus on responding to patient questions in the InBasket, preparing charts for future appointments, coordinating care tasks, and maintaining ongoing communication with the surgical team.
