The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in the clinical setting. The LPN is detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to handle physically demanding tasks. The LPN supports higher level nurses and physicians in delivering comprehensive medical services.

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of an RN or LIP in accordance with the state Board of Nursing scope of practice
• Manage workload accurately and deliver excellent customer service
• Perform testing, medication administration, and implementation of nursing interventions and care plans
• Advocate for patients in prevention of illness or disease
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team (physicians, NP, PA) and educate patients and family members
• Adhere to legal and ethical nursing standards across hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and private homes

• Valid LPN license in the state(s) of practice
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• High school diploma
• Certified LPN license (no experience required)
