Chamberlain is comprised of the College of Nursing and the College of Health Professions. The College of Nursing offers a three‑year Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program and flexible post‑licensure programs, such as the RN to BSN option, Master of Science in Nursing degree program, Doctor of Nursing Practice degree program and graduate certificates. The College of Health Professions also offers the Master in Public Health, Master of Social Work and Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree programs.
This position is on‑site at our campus in Sacramento, CA and supports our growing enrollment needs. Join us to support prospective and current nurses throughout their journey at Chamberlain.
- Proactively contact and respond to prospective students via telephone, email, and SMS with a contact strategy.
- Assess and qualify prospective students through prequalification or interview to determine if Chamberlain University’s programs meet the academic and professional needs of the applicant.
- Assist the applicant through the enrollment process by collaborating with other departments to ensure positive application progression, student satisfaction and success.
- Establish rapport and build relationships via phone in a high‑volume environment.
- Remain compliant with university standards and policies while operating in a student‑centric environment.
- Adjust and adapt quickly to change and implement updates accordingly.
- Work in a team environment and represent Chamberlain’s culture of care while supporting new student enrollment goals.
- Exemplify Covista values (Teamwork, Energy, Accountability, Community, Heart) in all interactions.
- Host campus events for prospective students/applicants, attend local community events, and promote the university (for campus‑specific hires).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Access to designated work‑from‑home office space with reliable high‑speed internet, or ability to report to campus 4‑5 days a week if hired for a specific campus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Eager to learn, retain, and implement new information.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $33.00 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job‑related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
