A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a committed professional to join our team. This is a remote position but the candidate must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential.
As an EP Mapping Specialist, you will work alongside clinicians, engineers, physicians, and innovators to execute mapping solutions for cardiac and other electrophysiological systems. You will blend technical expertise with a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
- Understand and support sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals on CAS products.
- Develop and cultivate customer relationships to generate incremental business.
- Work with Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Directors to identify sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA solutions products.
- Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
- Serve as a Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding products, service, and support.
- Act as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in mapping technology.
Minimum education and experience requirements:
- High school diploma plus a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- Associate degree plus a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- B.A./B.S. degree in nursing, cardiovascular or life sciences, or a technical discipline with at least four years of experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
- Proven track record of technical training assignments.
- Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
- Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
Job Requirements
- Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Must be within assigned territory each day and available for unscheduled needs.
- Occasional travel outside of the assigned territory and potentially overnight.
- Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; driving record will be reviewed.
- Physical ability to move throughout the facility, use a computer, and stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day.
- Will drive approximately 50% of the time within the territory.
