Advanced Primary Care for Women | ADHD, Neurodivergence & Comorbidities

Join a telehealth-based company that provides advanced primary care for women navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, and complex medical, hormonal, and behavioral comorbidities. The care model integrates women's health, precision-informed primary care, and thoughtful diagnostic processes to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.

We are seeking a PMHNP with strong primary care competence who is licensed to practice independently. This role begins at 5-10 hours per week, with the potential for a full-time W-2 position based on performance, clinical excellence, and patient outcomes. This is a high-impact role for a clinician who enjoys providing nuanced, integrated care to women with intersecting medical and hormonal needs.

Clinical

Responsibilities:

Advanced Primary Care

Conduct comprehensive telehealth visits across preventive, acute, and chronic care domains.

Diagnose and manage medical conditions commonly seen among women with ADHD and neurodivergence, including hormonal conditions, metabolic issues, migraines, sleep disturbances, GI symptoms, chronic fatigue, and related comorbidities.

Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics to guide individualized treatment plans.

Develop evidence-based care plans that consider medical, hormonal, and behavioral interactions.

Women's Health

Evaluate and manage perimenopause, menopause, dysmenorrhea, PMDD, PCOS, menstrual irregularities, and other hormonal conditions across the reproductive lifespan.

Develop and manage personalized hormonal medication plans—including pharmacologic selection, titration, and safety monitoring—that account for coexisting psychiatric and medical conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, migraines, metabolic concerns, and chronic fatigue.

Provide clinical guidance on hormonal transitions and collaborate with GYN or psychiatric partners as needed.

Medication Management

Prescribe and manage medications across primary care and women's health domains.

Monitor response, tolerability, interactions, and adherence; adjust care plans based on diagnostic data and patient outcomes.

Experience and familiarity with psychiatric diagnosis, medical evaluation, and medication management, including SSRIs, SNRIs, stimulants, non-stimulants, and related pharmacologic therapies.

Ensure all prescribing and documentation align with standards and regulatory requirements.

Tech-Enabled Care Delivery

Use advanced EMR, clinical dashboards, structured workflows, and decision-support tools to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

Maintain thorough, timely documentation that supports continuity of care and meets clinical quality standards.

Engage in digital communication and follow-up within established guidelines for patient safety and clarity.

Practice within standardized clinical protocols and SOPs, which are designed to support decision-making, reduce variability, and ensure safe, high-quality care. Comprehensive training is provided.

Collaboration & Care Coordination

Collaborate with physicians and care team partners when clinically indicated.

Support transitions of care, follow-up plans, referrals, and patient education.

Required Qualifications

Active PMHNP-BC license (ideally along with FNP, ANP, WHNP, AGNP license with primary care capability).

Eligibility for independent practice in Virginia.

Active Nurse Practitioner license

Active DEA License

Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail

Strong experience in primary care and/or women's health with comfort managing chronic, multisystem conditions.

Ability to integrate medical, hormonal, and behavioral considerations into clinical decision-making.

High proficiency with tech-enabled clinical tools, EMRs, telehealth platforms, and digital workflows.

Excellent clinical judgment, concise documentation, and reliable follow-through.

Ability to see patients in person on a limited, case-by-case basis.

Preferred Experience

Clinical experience in women's health (perimenopause, menopause, dysmenorrhea, PCOS, PMDD, menstrual or hormonal concerns).

Familiarity with chronic comorbidities, common among women with ADHD or neurodivergence (e.g., anxiety, depression).

Experience in interdisciplinary or integrative care environments.

Working knowledge of diagnostic and E/M coding.

Prior work in digitally supported, tech-enabled care models.
