Lakeside 20 is a nationally recognized Age Friendly Unit that participates in ACE (Acute Care of the Elderly) rounds on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We work, laugh, argue, joke around, and eat like family. Our unit is a giant melting pot of cultural diversity. We have staff from all of the world:

Required for all jobs: performs other duties as assigned, complies with all policies and standards, and must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Position requirements include thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice, use of a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies, and a professional demeanor when responding to patients.

One year of RN experience is required. Education requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, minimum of a Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited program. License requirements include a Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License upon hire, and current BLS Provider Certification issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during nursing orientation.
